In connection with the World Animation Day celebrations on 28th October, Saturday Petals Globe Foundation conducted an Animation Workshop  for Children at Kerala Museum Hall, Pathadippalam, Edappally, Kochi, Kerala.
 
The workshop is based on the theme, "The unforeseen ill effects of Social Media".  "A story line in connection with this theme was made live during the workshop, followed by the Story board developed and finally the animation was created. All this happened in just three hours of time straight in front of the children with their involvement ". This event featured the live animations and class sessions by eminent Animators, Jithesh Pulimoottil, Manoj Kumar M. and Devadas Wilson and Cartoonman Badusha in the lead.

The workshop revealed the magic of how an animation film of 30 seconds was made live just in front of the children. In addition to this, the workshop aims to throw light on the important topic , " How Social Media can be used wisely and effectively for the betterment of children than going on the other side, the ill effects of Social Media and jumping into deep trouble”.
